Spectacular visible migration today. A combination of clear skies, excellent visibility, a westerly wind and a rising almost-full moon provided perfect spring departure conditions. 1570 departed Langstone Harbour and 470 moved high over Sinah / The Solent, all east or southeast, and most at dusk between 18.00 and 19.05 and observed from Southmoor.
