| 13:07 | 1w. Distant ish. Off Salterns with the Common Scoters. First picked it up straight out from Lee on Solent near the Shack while going through the grebes and ducks but it was drifting west and by the time we gave up at Lee it was towards the Red buoy off Lepe coastline for us. DW joined me and we eventually had better scope views from the cliff at Hill Head before it continued drifting and we lost it. Hoping it'll reappear tomorrow if it joins the gull roost tonight! | |||
