10:30	Along the southern shores & spit of the Ternery island and four in the water. Only half a dozen drakes,difficult to separate imm birds from females with only bins from the ferry. My largest count here. A Roseate Tern was seen by one of the other Ventnor birders from the 9.0clock ferry.

Impossible to pick out the Scoter from the ferry, but got reasonable views from our side at Fort Victoria at 60x on Sat. with a GC Grebe, also a couple of times in flight. Thanks to Simon Colenutt for the heads up on Friday, Caulkhead Mafia in action!
