Two juv plumage sitting in a dead tree, a little way off behind back garden. These birds seem to be moving between woods behind game keepers cottage in St Leonards road, the tree line opposite and over to Sowley broom or all the way down to the marsh at Tanners Lane. A regular sighting at the moment.

I noticed the herons on the salt marsh were all looking straight up!, and my first thought was must be eagles and sure enough 2 very high up. Eventually they came in to land on the shingle bank on the edge of the salt marsh. Private site. No public access.

When I arrived 2 were in the air ( I actually thought 1 of them was a plane! ), then they came in to land on the salt marsh and I realized there was already one on the marsh, needless to say with a harrier present it was total chaos! Private site. No public access.
