Roosting an preening with black headed Gulls on saltmarsh by the mill pond. FYI birdguides who put this out as being in the usual place. Langstone Mill Pond is at the top of Chichester hbr and the bird is 1km east of the usual place. Nice to stuble across even if its not a 'find'. SU719050.

Seen flying around the embankment at the end of the car park next to the sea wall. Extremely windy and wet this morning. Awfully bitter with visibility quite poor.

Great views by the breach (directions as shown below by AJ Dickety (thank you)). It did fly north as I left but I am sure the others there will know where it is. Mind as you walk along the sea wall, I got absolutely drenched!

ad. Often feeds from sewage outfall aroung green triangle marker, then flies south-east towards Hayling bridge before returning to sheltered area by gravel works via Budds Farm STW. Seems in good health and flies strongly. Best viewed from shelter of tree belt at grid ref. SU 70387 05485 - park at slipway accessed from Harts Farm Way. SU703054.

Just to add to previous reports, although the bird was mobile at times, the best places to view from late morning were close to the car park at the end of Southmoor Lane or the mound south of the sewage farm.
