At least four birds seen distantly looking down escarpment north of car park. Birds feeding either on ground or occasionally in berry laden bushes. Two males and two probable juvenile birds, though I am sure there could of been up to six birds present. One of the males flew off high east. Birds seen with A. Fisher & G. Farwell.

1w birds - 2 fem & a male. Amongst a 40-strong congregation of Redwings, Song Thrushes, Blackbirds and Mistle Thrushes ranging the length of the southern field (beneath the hill-fort), from the Yew and Whitebeam spinney along the hedgerow and Juniper scrub to the east.

Female. Feeding amongst the Blackbirds and Rabbits along the edge of the Juniper scrub, though appearing only twice. Otherwise unobliging. Viewed from the southern rim of the hill-fort. .

Not seen this afternoon, but two handsome Reeves Pheasants, 150m down the NE slope of the fort, behind electric fence. Withdrawing under the yew wood. Photo, grainy, on gallery.

Male. Still present in southern enclosure, though seeking shelter from the Junipers and elusive. Best seen from the rim of the hill-fort.

Male. Initially in the trailside Elder and Hawthorn bushes on the south-western rim of the hill-fort; later settled, with Wheatears, between the top fence and Junipers of the south-facing slope within the enclosure beneath the southern rim of the fort. Best viewed from the perimeter trail, not from within the enclosure, as flighty.
