Looking at my photos - it seems that one or two of the distant Sandpipers at Alresford Pond today are in fact Wood rather than green. Good supercilium and diffuse breast seem to be present. Found a flight shot with pale-ish rather than dark underwing. Very poor photos - very distant/bridge camera - and scope really needed. Uploaded photos to this website now.

as reported by SC 3 Wood Sands dropped in while we were searching for yesterdays TS but after 10 mins they flew off together high north; In answer to Amy's comment regarding Poms I had the 14 from the bench at end of Butts Lagoon as the crossed the spit but they then flew high and over the island, didn't pick up any of the following groups so presume they followed suite.
