15:30	The regular Polish ringed yellow P:0P3 bird and yesterday's 2w bird again. The second bird is in more advanced moult with many coverts and two tertials now grey; Single mirrors on both P10 quite prominent. However, the head shows quite a lot of faint streaking, even on the crown which might suggest some hybrid genes, though all gulls have some variability.

14:45	2w. Colour Ringed. Polish ringed bird, yellow P:0P3. Present affording excellent views. Originally found by P.Watts. Ringed as a chick on 30.05.2020, dokładna [PL DO] Zbiornik Mietkowski, DOLNOŚLĄSKIE, POLSKA 50°57'04.8''; 16°36'21.8'' (50,95134000; 16,60606600). Re-sighted once in Poland on the 16th July 2020, 245 km away. Then re-sighted14.09.2021 Offshore German Bight behind our research vessel, 54°33'00.0'' 791 km away from its birth place. 23.09.2021 at Lauwersoog, GRONINGEN, HOLLAND. Then at Little Marlow from the 13th Nov 2021. .

15:45	A 2nd winter bird found by AB on the west side of the sand spit. The bird was colour ringed and Adam managed to read it as Yellow P:0P3. It was previously seen here on 13th Nov.

18:18	Adult- photographed. For second day in row just past Tern rafts 3p.m. Compared to Herrings, sleeker, nice clean light grey mantle, white head with faint streaking on hind neck. Dark small eye, longer parallel bill with dull red/ yellow spot with smudgy sub terminal band.

14:00	Colour ringed. Second winter Caspian gull, with Polish darvic ring P:0P3. This bird was ringed as a chick in a Polish colony in May 2020. It was spotted out in the North Sea in September just gone, before stopping in Holland on the way to coming here.

17:36	Expect the unexepted in Spring! One large Imm gull flew in landed on pontoon, nearly didn't bother looking with bins. Cracking 1st Winter, got nice photos. Not seen one here for months and been going through the large gulls every visit.

10:00	Near adult 3rd winter on the grass opposite the pavillion. Clearly larger than adjacent Herring Gulls, it showed well and displayed all the classic features until the whole flock was spooked by a low-flying Red Kite. Not relocated.
