| 09:45 | ad. Seen initially high above the centre of the pit and NE corner where it thermaled up out of sight. Subsequent sightings from the east and south banks and spit were possibly different birds as the sightings were widely spaced up until 11:30am. | |||

| 10:30 | ad. Flew E across the lake and seemed to keep going E, followed over the next hour by other mainly brief sightings of single birds going E. One landed on spit at 10:55. No sightings since 11:30. | |||

| 07:00 | Approximate count. Fantastic morning of passage, started 06:45 with 6 birds straight through (RH) before at least three further flocks passed through totalling 40+ birds by 10:00. Birds arrived from the west, from Wilstone direction or Long Marston, most birds stopped on Startops before leaving NE, across the canal/Marsworth through Bucks towards College Lake. Impossible to get accurate numbers in this dynamic situation. One or two adults lingered. Fantastic experience. | |||

| 12:00 | A flock of 14 were present on Startops from late morning. Birds very mobile, mainly in Herts. Birds were coming into the Bucks section on occasion, couldn’t tell how many of the 14 came into our county. 4 Black Terns also present, didn’t come into Bucks during my time on site. | |||
