| 10:40 | Not knowing the area well, I sought assistance and found the top of Ranvilles Lane, North of Stubbington Ark, where Deadelus Way cuts Ranvilles lane in half. There is space to park, and eventually found the Dove on a telegraph pole cross bar. it flew off pretty quickly but was relocated on wires by the houses by another birder I met, I think M Rolfe? I then drove back to Daedelous way and towards Bridge St where there is a pull in by a farm gate. Another birder was already viewing through his scope, and the Dove was quickly relocated on wires but partly obscured by a plump Wood Pigeon. It wasn't immediately easy to spot, but if you hang around and scan all the wires and poles, especially near the houses, and also on the ground in the field, you may get it. A scope is a distinct advantage for a positive ID. | |||

| 08:30 | Still present by the RSPCA Ark. Initially in a conifer by the car park before relocating it sat on the wires along the northern edge of the Ark from where it dropped to feed in the adjacent field. Viewable from the lane. | |||

| 08:20 | juv. Patch tick! Decided to check the regular Collared Dove flock by the RSPCA Ark on the remote chance that one would be a Turtle Dove and one of them was! Landed in the weeping willow by the gate before flying west out of sight behind trees. | |||
