Still around though difficult to find earlier in the morning. First appeared about 2/3 of the way towards the castle near the first of the posts on the harbour side of the spit. Initially seen for about 5 seconds before vanishing as I tried to locate it in my scope, I had given up with the idea of seeing it again when it resurfaced on the path 3 hours later, only around 100 m from Cut Bridge giving excellent views. Great bird!

A few hundred metres up from car park inland side. Located despite the best efforts of a pair of persons intent on staking it at close quarters causing its flight instead of keeping up on the shingle bank! You can't teach stupid.
