09:30 | Two of yesterday's 5 birds still present but exceptionally elusive. Both males are feeding on the berries of 4 Junipers along the top of the ridge and very rarely venture out of them. A couple of times I witnessed one of the two males having a drink from the cattle trough at the top of the track. | |||

3 males and a female feeding by the pine belt on the south side of the Transmitter Field. These are presumably the same 4 that Roy Hargreaves had flying east over the Beacon at 0830. | ||||

4 males on the slope just after Aldbury Nowers that were flushed at 1035 and flew high east towards the Beacon at 1035. A female was also reported so possibly 5 on site. | ||||
