Common Scoter
Calvert BBOWT Lake, Calvert, 31st March 2014
pair seen with Warren this afternoon,at first they were fairly close to 1st hide dive feeding vigorously, down for 20 secs up for 5 !! They moved to S/W bay still feeding, these pics taken from 2nd hide.Usually Scoters on these lakes stick to middle so rare chance to get closer pics, although when feeding and being hassled by Coots digi-scoping them was bloomin hard work !! ( apologies to Warren/Chris for the swearing !!)
