| 16:05 | male. Asleep most of the time amongst a group of Tufteds just to the east of the island. Best viewed from footbridge between the two lakes. I was a bit concerned the head is too rounded but a few times it has woken up and shown a more peaked crown. Plumage wise it looks spot on. | |||

| 07:20 | A flock of 5 sparrows flew over calling heading south, two were certainly Tree as the dark spot on the cheek was visible and suspect all five were this species but couldn't scan them all quickly enough. A big surprise on a decent passage day. | |||
