| 08:30 | Unprecedented numbers and a record count here. First of all a flock of five arrived on the beacon, came down but then went again, going over Steps Hill to the south-west. These were followed swiftly by another on the same path. Then I flushed another from the side of Steps and 3 more in a flock flew south. Finally a flock of 4 dropped into the Ringshall slope, with all 4 in one dead tree. The last 4 watched with D.Bilcock and G.Higgins. An incredible morning. . | |||
