Over west in over 2 and a half hours vis-mig. The first 3 were in a flock which passed low, almost overhead, seen with M.Baker, A.Roach and G.Higgins. The 4th bird was picked up perched at the top of a bare tree. Seen in the scope briefly before flying west giving great views as it passed over the hill. Last bird seen with M.Baker.

My first Hawfinch for Bucks this year and for Back Wood, heard only as it called in flight over one of the dense coniferous patches of the wood. Seemed to be heading south. Also just about picked up on audio on my camera.
