| male. Fantastic find by Tim Watts. After being refused entry a couple of hours earlier I returned later and was kindly allowed in for a quick look to see the stunning drake in the middle of the lake. Light was terrible looking into the sun but nice to see. Watched in the pleasant company of Ben Miller and another birder. |

| Male, staying middle for 6hrs I was there looking around a lot, seen preening, wing flapping and roosting with head tucked in. Sailing club very accommodating, asked and agreed to let birders in whilst they are there. |
