f. Montagu's Harrier flew right to left when it was harassed by two Hobbies (which were identified by two birders with scopes). The harrier flew above the electricity wires and disappeared towards Long Marston.

Flew SW across the regular large field watched by c8 birders from the gate on the Cheddington to Long Marsden road.

At the usual spot , flew right to left over the wheat fields.

Breeding : At least 6, probably many more and clearly breeding in the Wheat.

Breeding : 2 singing males, plus birds seen entering the same nest site as a couple of days ago.

fem. Again this morning, emerging from the huge wheat fields west of the minor road between Cheddington and Long Marston. Picked up by D.Bevan and enjoyed for 5 minutes by 20 plus birders present. Continued in Bucks airspace until it crossed the road towards the old airfield, where it was near the border, and to my eye in Herts. Bird still in that area when I left.

Flew up out of wheat field 6:35 a.m.

fem. Female again in huge cereal fields near Long Marston. Appeared at 06:35 and quartered the fields for about 15 minutes before landing on the central strip to preen. Finally lost her just after 7 heading towards Marsworth.
