Near Hulcott on private land with a flood with no access. With MSW. Located with a Black-winged Stilt and Dunlin. After locating, within seconds the whole flock took off and flew off high north-east, at which point there were thought to be 15 Ringed Plover, and definitely only 3 Dunlin. After about half an hour what is presumed the whole flock returned and we could actually study them this time. They'd clearly picked up more waders, and some of the flock may have not returned. There were now 11 Ringed Plover ( presumed all 'tundrae', 5 Little Ringed Plover and 6 Dunlin.

female/ imm male. Near Hulcott, on private land with flood with no access. With MSW. Incredible to find this bird on floodwaters in arable farmland. It once left the site and flew north-east, returned for a while then flew off south-west but looked to come down quite close by. Photographed. Bird subsequently re-located to College Lake this afternoon.
