Red-backed Shrike
Quainton Hills, 30th July 2014
In early evening it flew from isolated clump to the nearby thick hedgeline above.We were sat near stile at top of slopes when it popped up a couple of times,this is closest photo. in morning and evening spent up to 15 mins periods hiding in bushes, especially if spooked by Kestrels/Magpies landing near it.
