house martins peaked at c200 at any one time. Early flock included a beautiful leucistic , looked almost white with dark eye. On structure/flicghe prob H Martin. Modest numbers of sand martins - even fewer swallows. generally, hawking but also moving W or WSW.

Guesstimate, but several singles (seemed to be all ad's) flitting around the close, going up twrds the house eaves, but not settling. This usually happens in very late summer/early autumn, but they are never seen on a daily/weekly/etc, basis. Nest prospecting...? SU5985.
