15:30	As I walked along river bank from Wolvercote a large flock was in the centre of the meadow many in summer plumage. Only seen golden plover by floods before. They were close to paths and so regularly disturbed but always landed in other parts of the meadow. Very easy to see on the grass despite the wind and rain.
