Water Rail
Tattenhoe, Milton Keynes, 6th February 2019
Heavy crop of a Water Rail seen among one of the reed-beds on the brook in Tattenhoe, showing well as it came out into the open and almost to the top of the reeds, where it pecked/pulled at one of them before skulking back down closer to the water.
