seen well enough at distance with poor pics that don't do views in good light justice.

juv. Sat on fencepost by the road as I was driving by and heading north from Dorney on Marsh Lane, 200m south of Weir. I stopped the car, took by car-bins and walked back. It took off when cyclists passed, first over field and then heading over road and westward. Identifiers were the white primaries with black ends and knuckle on the underside and the white rump. The characteristic angled wing-shape like an M which sets it apart from a light coloured common buzzard, demonstrated in flight. Managed some shots with the mobile from a distance. UPDATED EDITS. I have just seen the photos of a pale common Buzzard taken two days later at the same location, by David Cleal. I must admit that this throws my own observation into doubt since my photos are clearly weaker and I made the close observation driving by. I stand corrected. . SU913801.
