Didn't have time to check Ashgrave. 92 flew high NE at dusk, calling, and off into the distance. Observed this pattern several times now - presumably heading off to nocturnal feeding grounds before returning at some point before dawn?

ad type 'russian'. with greylags in flooded field. I'm told the Oxon feral flock of WFG is of an American race (which?). However, this bird's bill is dinky, similar shaoe to pinkfoot. So wild in context of recent SE influc.
