16:00 | In the dell in the hanger NW of the Yarborough Monument, near the crossroads of the paths. Seen against the sun but frustratingly came within 10 foot. Sound recording matches xeno-canto, but am informed young chiffchaffs make a similar sound. Yellow wagtail type call. SZ631859. | |||

| 08:00 | First heard and then seen at 9.10 from road to Needles between the bungalow and house. called constantly for two minutes or so and kept high in tree tops. Last heard at 9.13 and no sign from then until I left at 9.30. [West High Down]. | |||
