13:19 | Diver sp - assumed at first it was a cormorant heading fairly low over the harbour towards me & the visitor centre but realised rather quickly it was actually a diver. It decided in the end not to fly onto the reserve or over to Stubbington, and instead headed east, low over the sailing club before gaining height. Not that experienced with divers in flight it spent most of it's time flying away from me, so not 100%. Upperparts all black, contrasting with the white underparts, appeared to have a dark throat so perhaps still in summer plumage or moulting. | |||
