| 18:30 | A kite drifted north over my house which I assume was a Red Kite but just not quite right. Tail not so much of a V and plumage seemed to not match RKs I have seen (juv?). It went fairly straight North, towards Eastleigh. Highly unlikely to have a lifer from the garden but...(after I posted this, I went to have a look at Alan Lewis' photos on here, I really wish I hadn't.... if only I had paid more attention - the underwing pattern of his bird is very similar to the one I saw - damn!!!! | |||
