male. All of a sudden an amazing variety of birds seen in my garden at the same time (lunch). Bullfinch(m), Goldcrest, Wren, LT Tit, Coal Tit, GS Woodpecker (f),Great Tit, Blue Tit, Jay, Nuthatch, Blackbird. Is it their response to Autumn watch?

Murmuration above main road at Bisterne, Avon Valley as I drove North at 4pm. Could have been many more than the VERY quick estimate of 1000.

A flock of c60 small geese flew low over middle wallop airfield in the fog, no calls where heard but from size and shape either Brent or pink-footed geese a very unusual sighting!
