| 15:15 | juv. Single bird flew low west past Stansore Point and watched until it was out of sight approx. off Sowley. Ten minutes later, having locked onto a pale-phased adult Arctic off Stansore, a second Pom came into the same view enabling direct comparison. The Pomarine continued west, the Arctic changed direction and harassed gulls off the Isle of Wight. . | |||

| 3 male, 1 fem. Birds seen at continuing area near Ashley Walk/Leaden Hall path intersection at 50.936792, -1.7200019. Frequented a hawthorn bush in this area, but often flew into the valley and towards Leaden Hall. Secretive, flighty, but vocal in flight with thrush-like rattle. Last seen near 15:00. There was also a turtle dove calling from the valley to the west! A bit late but there was no mistaking the sound. | ||||
