ad. Pale-phased flew W. past Stansore Point with Pomarine and then veered off to pester Gulls off the Isle of Wight.

juv. Single bird flew low west past Stansore Point and watched until it was out of sight approx. off Sowley. Ten minutes later, having locked onto a pale-phased adult Arctic off Stansore, a second Pom came into the same view enabling direct comparison. The Pomarine continued west, the Arctic changed direction and harassed gulls off the Isle of Wight. .

4 seen but more heard; 25 reported.

3 male, 1 fem. Birds seen at continuing area near Ashley Walk/Leaden Hall path intersection at 50.936792, -1.7200019. Frequented a hawthorn bush in this area, but often flew into the valley and towards Leaden Hall. Secretive, flighty, but vocal in flight with thrush-like rattle. Last seen near 15:00. There was also a turtle dove calling from the valley to the west! A bit late but there was no mistaking the sound.

male. Not of the rare Siberian race, but rare enough here - only second record in over twenty years. For last three days favouring one of the few remaining hedgerows in this agricultural desert.
