In a large mixed flock of finches (several hundred) in the fields to the north of the Alder trees by the the rectangular irrigation pond on the left hand side at the south end of the drive. A few also in the shelter belt south of the maize maze field. Numbers of birds were impossible to count with many in trees and dispersed over several fields so 30 Bramblings is probably an big underestimate. Other species Linnet 100-200, Chaffinch 100-200, Siskin 10s, Goldfinch 10s. SU432970.
