Adult female, drinking from birdbath, was possibly on feeder. Extraordinary, twice in a week for this species, which is present nearby, but has rarely visited the site, despite the obvious attractions of food and water! SU5985.

Male, drinking from the birdbath, good job I checked all the Greenfinches using it! Prob only the second time I've seen one here. They're in the very nr vicinity (just over the hedge) but they never seem to visit the feeders or spilt seed, or the 'bath... SU5985.

An astonishing turn-up here; one settled on bird-bath for a few seconds, then a second on the drive - both stunning males. Foraged the hedge margin for a minute or so, then flew, completely missing the huge bounty of spilt seeds beneath my feeders! I'm guessing they are from the field and hedge opp. our site. SU5985.
