At least 10 x birds - prob a lot more - soaring and swooping around at medium height all afternoon... the adults feeding the chicks in our roof seemed to be bringing in St Mark's flies (Bibio spp). I reckon that's what they were all hawking for... anybody else notice this behaviour...? One of our birds also brought in a green shield-bug, possibly a Hawthorn shield-bug. ID'd from 33 megapix images from a Sony A7 IV, amazing detail! SU5985.

On sfh feeder, then one in bird-bath... has anybody else noticed that, when one species bathes, others often do as well? A male Blackbird got in with the Starling, which tried to oust him, then 3 x House Sparrows came and bathed, then a Collared Dove got in. I've notice this previously where one species bathing seems to attract others to do the same. SU5985.
