11:57	Circled over the Common having been sleeping on the Eton Wick flood (in Berks). Flew off back into Berks NE. A Jack Snipe circled over the flood, I only saw it in Berks.

11:03	imm. flew low over the Common and landed on the Eton Wick (Berkshire) flood.

17:40	Two brief sightings. Firstly along centre of of spit edge main island and moving quite quickly eastwards. Legs and bill black and with large white body. Viewed from south path. Second sighting when relocated through willow branches from main island overhanging the water surface. White body and black tripod of legs and bill in clear view. I returned to west side of lake for better view but it had flown. Thanks to David Bevan for initial info.

17:50	Found by David Bevan and Marcus Warden. It was still present on the far side of the sand spit when I arrived but flew off NE a short time later.
