A garden first for me, given away by calls as it flew low to the southwest over the estate at around 9.15am. Image in the gallery.

With MSW and R.Hargreaves. An incredible morning with some high quality scarcities and great views of these. Over to the south-west in 4hrs solid vis-mig. What a morning for these ! 1 passed over before sunrise. Later a flock of 3 afforded crippling views as they flew along the trees at the watch point before they turned and landed in the trees, the colours, the beak - stunning ! Then less than 15 minutes later 2 more very low over our heads took the same route but continued south.
