Given away by calls as it flew to the east/southeast past Howe Park Wood in the late afternoon. Part of a pre-roost finch/bunting movement which I've never seen before in the Tattenhoe area. Presumably a bird from the outskirts of the city.

2 individuals seen heading to the east/southeast in a pre-roost movement in the late afternoon. One very high-flying bird followed by a much lower bird a little while later, both heading past Howe Park Wood.

A minimal count, with at least this number from finch flocks heading to the south/southwest in an early morning movement and possibly 6 additional individuals heading to the east/southeast in a gradual pre-roost movement past Howe Park Wood.

Possibly more. One initially seen heading to the southwest and a single dispersing from a roost soon after. Interestingly the first time I've seen a roosting bird leave Tattenhoe, with the vast majority in the area still using Tattenhoe Park to the southwest of the V1. Later a single flew to the north and possibly another to the west/northwest in a late afternoon movement.
