Similarly, half the Pochard number that was on the Return Lake on Friday were on the Arboretum pond today. Strange change of behaviour for both species. Note:- This site is currently only open on weekdays.

Half this flock was on the Return Lake on Friday, yet there was not one diving duck today, all appear to have relocated to the much smaller Arboretum Pond. Counting was impossible but the flock easily looked twice the size of the 290 I had on this pond on Friday, so I've gone with a conservative 500.
