m n f. These have replaced the long staying females. This M n F seem to be paired. They have reappeared after an absence of. The female is warner, darker brown than greyer females, so distinctive.

In one flock. The first of year were a flock of 5 a couple of weeks ago. Have these been hanging round elsewhere waiting for cold weather to cease so they can continue migrating. Equally, a loose flock of 5 to 7 oystercatchers remains. Not yet settling to breed. Cold spring delaying?
