pr. Feeding in Channel as tide went out. Also at least 400 Dunlin, 3 Curlew, 4 GBB Gulls inc 1 juv. Also 10 Shelduck.

7m 3fm 1 juv. a couple of male were juv's. Seen off the Western sea wall from VP. Present for a couple of hours. Moved South when tide went out.

Good view of calling bird on barbed wire fence above extensive fleabane meadow (heath-like structure), exactly same patch as last weekend. Possibly a second bird called. The location is an area threatened by Watery Lane SANGS, a proposed sacrificial dog walking area to protect breeding dartford warblers from dogs on nearby heathland. These warblers also need dispersal and wintering habitat !!! to survive.
