ad and 3w. Seen resting on the lake at separate times. The 3rd-winter bird was very similar to the Norweigan-ringed bird seen a few days ago but not seen to have any rings when it left with other gulls.

Colour ringed. 4 individuals present among a large gathering of gulls resting on ice, including an almost mature individual from a Norwegian ringing scheme. Black ring on left leg with white code reading JR664 and metal ring on right leg. This bird was ringed as a chick 844km away at Husholmen, Mandal, Vest-Agder, Norway on 23rd June 2020, then reported at Tungebukta, Hille, Mandal, Vest-Agder, Norway on 28th August 2020, at Grenen, Nordjylland, Denmark on 27th July 2022, then at Grenen, Skagen, Nordjylland, Denmark on 10th October 2022.
