With MSW. Approx, but a conservative count. A simply staggering flock of birds, the biggest winter flock either of us have ever seen. The combination of a hunting Peregrine and some shooting starting, flushed thousands into the sky. There were thousands feeding in hawthorn and on flooded fields until they went up, the sky went black with them !! Photo'd.
