I spent some time here this morning, a huge field of Wheat, the same field used by a number of pairs in 2022. 3 pairs and a further single male today - 1 pair, entering nest site. 1 pair, female carrying nesting material, into same spot that yesterday she was carrying food for young. Does this mean they've been predated, or just building a new nest for a second brood as the young from the first brood get ready to fledge ? 1 pair, song flighting, calling and displaying over nest site, then entering crop together. Single male calling and flying over same field.
