Two first-winters in Whitebeam in Inkombe Hole this morning, one possibly the same as yesterday's. Also an excellent VizMig session involving the first Woodpigeon push south, my first Fieldfare of the autumn and a mixture of finches.

ad. Probably male, but not 100%. Flew into the hill 10 minutes before sunrise. Did a loop of the car park as if looking to land but then went low West presumably into top scrub.

With MSW, in over 2hrs vis-mig. Heard really clearly at our watchpoint, but not seen. It was either flying and we missed it, or perched up somewhere.

On traditional hedgeline running down West slopes p.m, male and slightly duller/ browner one young male ? Had watched this spot,sat down, for 20 mins but only got them on re- visit later. Possible 3rd base Nrth slopes a.m, extreme distance, under hedge, back to me and herd of cattle then farmer arrived on that spot!!! Pretty sure got glimpse of bit of white neck collar but needed better view to confirm.

5 birds present - 3 males and 2 females - frequently the recently cleared slope above the golf course but very flighty and nervous due to the very strong winds.
