Pair have been raising their second brood for the last week in a nest that was slightly damaged by the marauding Jay back on the 5th July. Another nest which was badly damaged & predated on the same date is still occupied by a pair of House Martins, but they have made no attempt at repairing it.

Two nests containing young predated by a Jay today, another nest from where young have fledged also destroyed, can still here young in another nest, no doubt they'll be gone tomorrow. Luckily four broods have fledged. I thought the biggest danger was from Hobbies & Sparrow Hawks once they had fledged. As I write this it's back again.
