Once again a mix of adults and juveniles, though a large dark-mantled adult stood out from the rest, almost like a Yellow-legged Gull at first glance but with pink legs and a lot of white around the wingtips. Looked to be a good candidate for the European "Argentatus" race.

A minimal count. A mixture of immature and adult birds as usual, coming and going. One particular 1st-winter bird had an unusually long bill (picture in the gallery) while one of the more mature birds was noticeably darker on the mantle and featuring dull legs. Perhaps one of the Northern "Argentatus" race?
